Bale drying systems SB
The basis of the bale drying system is a powerful Gros radial fan. The fan blows air through the distribution metal air ducts on which the bales are placed. The bales must be of medium pressure with a soft core. This enables the most efficient air flow through the bale and ensures quality and uniform drying of the hay. Loading and unloading bales is very easy and fast. When the bale is on the drying channel, cover it with a metal lid to prevent all the air from escaping through the soft core. The lid makes the air to be blown out through the sides of the bale so that we can achive uniform drying.

Options for heating the drying air
1. SUN ROOF
Air channel is made under the roof tiles. Sun heats the roof tiles consequently heating the air under the tiles in the air chanel. Radila drying fan Gros sucks the heated air from the roof chanel and send it into bales or hay
2. BIOMAS HEATER (woodchips/pellets)
We can use an already existing wood biomass water heater to which we connect a heat exchanger (water-air), which we instal in front of the fan. Hot water in the heat exchanger heats the drying air that flows through it.
As you can see, the heat exchanger is instaled to the side of the fan or placed in the fan compartment. All the air that reaches the fan goes through the heat exchanger.
Drying with fresh air is possible, but it takes a little longer, depending on the weather.
3. WARM AIR HEATER BIOMAS
The pictures show a hot air pellet heater .
4. HOT AIR OIL HEATERS
Place the heater 1m in front of the fan’s suction opening. The fan will suck all the heated air from the heater. The chimney of the heater is raised or moved away from the fan so that the fan does not suck in the exhaust gases.
